Ø HIV and AIDS – Chapter 21
You will choose a group to be apart of in which you will work on your final Health project presentation. The group should be no less than three people, but no more than six people. Choose wisely; this is your FINAL! Your group will choose one chapter for your final presentation. I will intervene only if each chapter is not chosen within class population. It is important that all chapters are presented, as this is the conclusion of this course. You will have December 3rd and 5th in-class work-time for your project. You may choose to complete some work at home.
Health Final Project Presentation Directions and Comments
You are a non-profit health organization and your job is to tour community high schools to educate adolescents about your topic. Your group must thoroughly read your assigned chapter and present content clearly in order to educate us about your topic. Consider covering the following in your presentation:
· Title of your group (health organization) and names of people in your group
· Topic that you are presenting
· Key terms
· What is the issue?
· Why is it important to know about it?
· What are the key points of each section that teenagers need to know?
· How does this topic affect teenagers, the community and the future of students at this high school?
· You must make a poster for your topic and present it.
· You must make key term visuals/poster cards with definitions.
· You must create some type of jingle to end your presentation so that we don’t forget your message – this may be a song, rap, poem, or riddle and all people in your group must say/sing /perform it. You can invite us to join in once we know how it goes. Keep it school appropriate. This is your Final!!! Keep it clean and healthy.
· You will be graded via group presentation rubric.
